KDMVP Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging gaps in support and opportunity for young men by helping them discover their strengths, develop their potential, and deploy their gifts and talents with purpose.
Founded by Kim Hunter, a former educator and licensed psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience in mental and behavioral health, KDMVP was inspired by the dream of her son, Kordero Hunter. A promising college athlete and aspiring psychologist, Kordero envisioned using his gifts and talents for a purpose greater than himself—one that extended beyond the field to help others win and thrive.
Through KDMVP, his dream continues as an investment in the potential, development, and future of young men and the generations to come.

KDMVP empowers young men with limited support and access to opportunities to transform their potential into purpose through mentorship, service leadership, and specialized career scholarships.

KDMVP envisions a future where young men are equipped to lead, thrive, and make meaningful contributions to their families and communities, while increasing the representation of men of color in health, human services, and other helping professions—positively impacting generations to come.
